Mumbai. Tollywood films have made a splash not only in the South, but also from Bollywood to International level. Whether it is ‘Bahubali’ or ‘Pushpa’, ‘RRR’ and ‘KGF 2’ all have set flags at the World Wide Box Office. Recently Tollywood became the number 1 industry beating Bollywood. At the same time, now a war of words has been seen on Twitter between South Superstar Kiccha Sudeep and Bollywood’s ‘Singham’ i.e. Ajay Devgn.
Actually, both the celebs have been seen fighting over ‘Hindi language’ on Twitter. Let us inform that Ajay Devgan gave a befitting reply to Kichha Sudeep’s statement ‘Hindi is no longer the national language’. Ajay wrote on his Twitter handle, ‘Kiccha Sudeep my brother if according to you Hindi is not our national language then why do you release your mother tongue movies by dubbing them in Hindi? Hindi was our mother tongue, national language, is and always will be. Jan Gan Man.’
Kichcha Sudeep also did not stop here and re-tweeting Ajay’s tweet, he wrote, ‘Sir, translation and interpretation are two different perspectives. The reason for reacting without knowing the whole matter matters. I am not blaming you @AjayDevgan. Sir, if you had tweeted about me for some creative reason, it would probably have been a happy moment for me. Love and respect.’
Kichha Sudeep wrote in another tweet, ‘Sir, in relation to what I have said, I feel that my point has been presented in a very different way. Maybe I can put my point to you better only when I meet you. I didn’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings. Nor do I intend to incite anyone or promote any controversy. Why would I do this sir.’
Kichcha did not stop here and wrote in another tweet, ‘I respect every language of my country. I do not want to pursue this topic any more. I want it to end here. As I said that is not what I meant to say. I hope to see you soon.
