Prime Minister Narendra Modi (Narendra Modi) Assam on one day tour today (Assam) Arrive. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated 6 cancer hospitals in Assam and laid the foundation stone of seven cancer hospitals during a program at Dibrugarh’s Khanikar Maidan. On this special occasion, Prime Minister Modi said, “Today from this historic city, I remember Assamese pride, all the great children of Assam, who have contributed to the development of Assam, and respectfully bow down to all of them.” Today 7 new cancer hospitals of Assam have been inaugurated here. PM Modi said, there was a time when even a single hospital opens in 7 years, it is considered a great enthusiasm. Today the time has changed, 7 hospitals are opening in a state in a day.

PM Modi said, the world is constantly fighting with the infection of Corona. Now it is the responsibility of all of us to get vaccinated on time and give this protective shield to the children too.

PM Modi said, today the hospital is with you, but I do not want the people of Assam to ever go to the hospital. I wish you good health. No one in your family should have to go to the hospital and I will be happy that all the hospitals built by us remain empty. If the need arises, there should not be a chance to face death due to inconvenience, so we will be ready to serve you.
PM Modi said, cancer has been a big problem not only in Assam but also in the North East. The most affected by this is our poor, middle class family. Till a few years ago, patients had to go to big cities for the treatment of cancer. PM Modi said that due to no cancer hospital here, a huge financial burden fell on poor and middle class families. I give many thanks to Sarbananda Sonowal ji, Hemanta ji and Tata Trust for the steps that have been taken here for the last 5-6 years to remove this problem of poor and middle class.
PM Modi said, our government has focused a lot on seven things – or the Saptarishis of health. The first attempt is that there is no chance of illness. That’s why our government has given a lot of emphasis on Preventive Healthcare. These yoga, fitness related programs are going on because of this.
PM Modi said that the second focus of our government is that if a disease occurs, it should be known at the very beginning. For this, lakhs of new testing centers are being built across the country. PM Modi said that our third focus is that people should have better facility of first aid near home. For this primary health centers are being improved.
Prime Minister Modi said that our fourth effort is that the poor should get free treatment in the best hospital. For this, under schemes like Ayushman Bharat, free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh is being given by the Government of India.
The PM said, our fifth focus is that the dependence on big cities for good treatment should be minimized. PM Modi said, the sixth focus of our government is also on the fact that the shortage in the number of doctors should be removed. In the last seven years, more than 70 thousand new seats have been added for MBBS and PG. Our government has also considered more than 5 lakh AYUSH doctors at par with allopathic doctors.
PM Modi said, the seventh focus of our government is digitization of health services. The effort of the government is to get rid of long lines for treatment, to get rid of the problems in the name of treatment. For this, one after the other schemes have been implemented.
The world is constantly fighting with the infection of Corona. The scope of vaccination campaign in India has increased a lot. Now many vaccines have been allowed for children as well. Now it is the responsibility of all of us to get vaccinated on time and give this protection to the children too.
The Central and Assam Government are working sincerely to give a better life to lakhs of families working in tea gardens. From free ration to whatever facilities are there under the Har Ghar Jal Yojana, the Assam government is rapidly taking them to the tea gardens.
PM Modi said, in the last years there are many such essential medicines for cancer, whose prices have almost halved. Due to this, about 1000 crore rupees are being saved for cancer patients every year. More than 900 medicines are available cheaply through Pradhan Mantri Jan Aushadhi Kendras.
