He said that similarly in the last financial year 2021-22, 2 lakh 60 thousand 864 farmers were benefited from the scheme and a total of Rs 1034.05 crore was paid for loan waiver.
He told that the government is also resolving the problems related to the farm loan waiver scheme of the farmers through the Kisan Call Center. State Agriculture Director Nisha Oraon told that every effort is being made to give the benefits of the scheme to the farmers. In Jharkhand, the government operates the Kisan Call Center. Every type of problem related to agriculture is solved over the phone itself. Farmers are benefiting a lot from this, because they do not have to make rounds of office-office for their problems.
