Narsinghpur: The police on Thursday revealed the brutal murder of an elderly couple in Gotegaon of Narsinghpur district of Madhya Pradesh, 7 months ago. It took the police a full 7 months to solve the mystery of this double murder. The Superintendent of Police told in a press conference that the elderly Shantibai and the elderly Padam Singh were suspected by their own close relative Gajraj that both the elderly couple were getting Gajraj’s wife to do some immoral work like prostitution.
The superintendent further said that due to suspicion, Gajraj went to the house of the elderly couple late in the night and brutally killed both of them with an ax. After killing the accused Gajraj Patel came to his house with the mobile and anklets of the deceased and gave it to his wife Sunita. Sunita took out the SIM card from the mobile and threw it and kept the payal with her.
Police registered a case against both the accused Gajraj and Sunita Patel under section 302 and produced them in the court, from where they were sent to jail. This case of murder of an elderly couple on suspicion is very sensational in itself.
