The 660 MW power generation at Kasimpur Power House was started four months ago by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. This unit was prepared by Toshiba Company of Japan. After spending more than 6 thousand crores budget, 8 years have been spent in preparing it. It is being told that due to BTL, there has been a problem of leakage in the boiler. Due to which the 660 MW power unit will remain closed for 72 hours.
Problem in the unit only after 4 months of inauguration
Due to the shutdown of the largest unit, the power generation of Kasimpur Power House has been reduced to half. 1270 MW of electricity is generated in Kasimpur Power House, but due to leakage in the boiler of the new unit, the power unit of 660 MW is shut down. This problem had come up before. Due to which the unit remained closed for 4 days. Once again the power generation has stopped due to leakage of boiler tube of new unit number 10. Even after 4 months of inauguration, the unit could not run properly.
Traders, students, farmers upset due to power crisis
At present three units are in operation in Kasimpur Power Project. In which two units of two hundred and fifty MW and one unit of 110 MW are producing electricity. It has been more than 24 hours since the big unit was shut down and it is being told that the unit is likely to remain closed for 3 days. Due to this, there is a power crisis in the areas living within five kilometers of Kasimpur Power House. However, there was talk of 24 hours power supply in these areas. But due to low production, electricity is not available in these areas. Due to which people living near Kasimpur Power House are upset due to scorching heat, and are protesting by closing the market, businessmen, students, farmers are upset due to power crisis.
