National rate of recovery of patients 98.75 percent
With the arrival of 2,927 new cases of COVID-19 in a day in India, the number of people infected with the corona virus in the country so far increased to 4,30,65,496. At the same time, the number of patients undergoing treatment also increased to 16,279. According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry at 8 am on Wednesday, after the death of 32 more people due to infection in India, the death toll has increased to 5,23,654. The number of patients undergoing treatment for COVID-19 in the country has increased to 16,279, which is 0.04 percent of the total cases. At the same time, the national rate of recovery of patients is 98.75 percent.
More than 188.19 crore vaccines administered so far under vaccination campaign
According to the updated data, the daily rate of infection is 0.58 percent and the weekly rate is 0.59 percent. So far, a total of 4,25,25,563 people have become infection free in the country and the death rate from COVID-19 is 1.22 percent. At the same time, more than 188.19 crore doses of anti-Covid-19 vaccines have been given so far under the nationwide vaccination campaign. Significantly, on 7 August 2020, the number of infected people in the country had exceeded 20 lakh, on 23 August 2020, 30 lakh and on 5 September 2020, more than 40 lakh.
