Gariaband: The Gariaband Police of Chhattisgarh has started the ‘Mission Jeevan Rakshak’ scheme to reduce the deaths in road accidents. Under this scheme, along with connecting the youth of villages located near the identified high accident sites, 5-5 youths from each such village will be selected and trained. The phone numbers of the youth would be put up on the boards in the accident prone areas and would be pasted in their villages so that the injured could be helped immediately if needed.
The job of the trained youth will be to immediately reach the spot and give first aid to the injured and take them to the hospital through police or Sanjeevini vehicle and inform the police about the incident. Let us inform that on Wednesday, SP JR Thakur along with a team of doctors trained the villagers under Mission Jeevan Raksha in the Axen Hall of Forest, where the doctor who came from the district hospital treated them with the care taken towards the injured persons in the accident. At the beginning of the program, Superintendent of Police JR Thakur while addressing the members present in the training said that the main objective of this training is to reach every accident victim and save his life, for this training was given to the villagers on Wednesday and those persons The name and number will be pasted by putting up a board in their place of residence and the surrounding area so that their number can be found by the people present on the spot in case of emergency and the people who have been tested can be called.
