The Aam Aadmi Party on Wednesday demanded an FIR on the horrific fire that broke out at the Bhalswa landfill site, calling it criminal negligence. MCD in-charge Durgesh Pathak said that, for the fourth time this month, a massive fire broke out at the Bhalswa landfill, the process of extinguishing it is still going on. People are having trouble breathing. There is a fear among the people that if even a small ball of fire falls down, the entire colony will catch on fire. All this is the result of BJP’s negligence and corruption. There have been about 14 fires in the last one year but BJP is not taking any action. And when you question him on the mountains of garbage, he refuses to answer.
The Aam Aadmi Party has demanded that there should be an FIR for criminal negligence against the Mayor, Councilor of BJP and jail action should be taken against all. Because because of them the people there are forced to live the worst life. The situation is that anyone can die at any time. People are having so much problem in breathing that they are forced to leave their colony and run away.
According to AAP, the negligence of BJP is no less than a crime. A few days ago, through the Vidhan Sabha, we asked the BJP, what are you doing to clean the garbage? How long will it take and what will be the process? The BJP refused to divulge anything. The reason for this is the corruption of BJP. Every garbage and every single plastic of Delhi is living proof of BJP’s corruption.
In fact, the fire at the landfill site is still being extinguished, due to the toxic fumes emanating from the massive fire, it is difficult to breathe. However, the local people are constantly demanding that the government should take concrete steps on this soon.
