The company plans that it will launch E20 vehicles running on ethanol in the market by next year. The E20 vehicle is actually petrol and ethanol (ethanol) are vehicles plying on it. Also, the company claims that in future all cars have such compatible engines, whose tuning can be set according to the ethanol fuel. If we talk about the price, then the price of these E20 vehicles will be slightly higher than the rest of the vehicles.

According to the report of cardekho.com, in a recent interview, the company has confirmed that their upcoming plans are about vehicles running on the E20. The company claims that E20 vehicles will be seen on the roads by 2023 April. E20 vehicles are meant to be a fuel consisting of 20 per cent ethanol and 80 per cent petrol. Apart from petrol and CNG, now the car will also appear in the third fuel option.
A flex fuel engine works on either standalone or mixed fuel. Currently, the cars are running with 5 to 10 per cent ethanol blending with the current engine settings. The company says that the price of vehicles running on the E20 engine is slightly higher than the rest of the vehicles.

The fuel economy is expected to decline slightly due to the use of ethanol, but the government is planning to impose a lower tax on blended fuel. Ethanol consist of local raw material. There is no import hassle in this and the price of this fuel is less than the price of petrol. The government plans to use the E20 blend fuel engine in cars by the year 2025. Till now, among all the car companies, Maruti is the only company that is working on E20 fuel.
