The last two episodes of people’s favorite comedy show ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ were musical. A music festival was organized in the Gokuldham Society, in which all the members of the society together enjoyed a lot. But in the midst of all this, a mistake was made by the show’s team. For which he has publicly apologized.
Actually Atma Ram Bhide sang late singer Lata Mangeshkar’s song ‘Ae Mere Watan Ke Logon’. Regarding which Dada ji i.e. Champak uncle gave wrong information in the show. Grandfather (Amit Bhatt) shares an anecdote of the song with the people of the society, saying that the song was composed as a tribute to the Indian soldiers who died in the 1965 war. Although the reason for the creation of the song was correct, the war took place in 1962. And this song was released on Republic Day, 1963.
After this episode, the makers of the show have apologized through social media. A note signed by the show’s producer Asit Kumar Modi has been shared on Twitter. In which it reads, “We would like to apologize to our viewers, fans and well-wishers. In today’s episode, we inadvertently mentioned 1965 as the year of release of the song “Ae Mere Watan Ke Logan”.
“We would like to correct ourselves. The song was released on January 26, 1963. We promise to be careful in the future. We appreciate your support and love.”
Prime Minister became emotional after listening to this song in the voice of Lata Mangeshkar: This song was sung by Lata Mangeshkar. Lata Mangeshkar, popularly known as The Nightingale of India, had told that once Jawaharlal Nehru became emotional after hearing this song from her mouth. He also told that he was informed a day before the performance. He didn’t even have time to rehearse the song.
Due to which he refused to sing. But at the behest of poet Pradeep, the author of this song, he sang the song in front of former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi. Hearing his song, Nehru said with moist eyes, “Lata, you made me cry today.”
