A 2019 video of a mother saving her son from being crushed by a truck has again gone viral on social media, prompting England cricketer Jofra Archer to react. In the video, three people can be seen traveling on a motorcycle when a car collided with them. The car kept going forward, but mother and son fell from the bike. When he fell, there was a speeding truck in front of him. Then the mother reacts so fast to pull her child back towards her, which everyone is shocked to see. Mother manages everything so fast as she starts talking to the wind to get away from the wheels of the truck at the right time. According to the Daily Mail, the incident took place in Nam Dinh, Goi, Vietnam.
Responding to the video posted on Twitter on Monday, Archer wrote, “Mother of the year.”
Talking about Archer, the England cricketer has been ruled out after undergoing two surgeries to treat a problem with his right elbow. The right-arm pacer was bought by Mumbai Indians in the IPL mega auction for Rs 8 crore. It was also clear that he would not be able to play in the 2022 season. After being out of IPL 2022, Archer is making his recovery but he has kept his word about his new IPL team.
Archer said on the team’s official social media handle, ‘MI are very close and family like and such teams always perform well. So it is no surprise that we have won five titles.
He had said, ‘It’s been 10 years for Polly (Kieron Pollard), (Lasith) Malinga was there for a long time, so is Rohit (Sharma). These things make you feel safe when you come into the team as a new player. When Archer plays for MI, it will be their second team after Rajasthan Royals, for whom he will play in the IPL. He played for three seasons in Rajasthan.
