San Francisco: Apple users across the world faced issues with the App Store and Apple Music for a few hours. The company said early on Tuesday that it had fixed both bugs and services were back on track. DownDetector, a service provider of outage tracking, reported these issues and said that almost all users around the world were affected by it.
The App Store outage largely affected iPad users, leaving them with problems playing music on Apple Music, accessing their profiles, viewing songs, and more.
“Thanks for the awareness! The App Store is currently experiencing an outage. We’re working hard on this so you can access the App Store again,” Apple Support said in a tweet.
Users of both the App Store and Apple Music experienced intermittent issues for a few hours.
Reddit users had problems with Apple Music missing song information, Dolby Atmos, and lossless audio from songs.
9to5Mac reported that Apple’s privacy labels were not appearing on many App Store listings.
Now, both of Apple’s services have been resolved.
