New Delhi: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann arrived on a two-day visit to Delhi on Monday. Mann along with Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal visited Dr BR Ambedkar School of Specialized Excellence in Kalkaji on Monday morning. Mann reached Delhi at around 11 am and met at the residence of CM Arvind Kejriwal. After this visited the school in Delhi. Bhagwant Mann will visit Mohalla Clinics and Hospitals during his Delhi visit. During this, the Education Minister of Punjab and many other top officials are also present in Delhi. Delhi Education Director Himanshu Gupta briefed the Punjab delegation about the education policy of Delhi.
On reaching Delhi, Bhagwant Mann said on Monday, this is the next level of education. Something that big schools cannot even think of, it has been implemented by government schools. Digital education is happening here, with the cooperation of big companies. I have seen such schools in US-Canada but not in India.
According to sources, Bhagwant Mann will visit the schools, hospitals here to provide quality health care and education facilities to the people in Punjab. An MoU is likely to be signed between the Punjab and Delhi governments in this regard. A few weeks back Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin also visited Delhi schools.
After Kalkaji, Bhagwant Mann will visit Mohalla Clinic in Chirag Enclave, Greater Kailash, Delhi. After this, Bhagwant Mann will also visit Kautilya Government Children’s School, Chirag Enclave. According to the Punjab Chief Minister’s Office, the purpose of Bhagwant Mann’s visit is to strengthen the health and education infrastructure of Punjab on the lines of the Delhi model.
On the other hand, BJP MP Manoj Tiwari has taken a jibe at Bhagwant Mann’s visit to Delhi. While advising Bhagwant Mann, he said that do not fall into the trap of Kejriwal.
