Leaders around the world are congratulating Emmanuel Macron for winning the French presidential election for the second time in a row. British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has congratulated Emmanuel Macron by tweeting. Boris Johnson wrote in his tweet, ‘Congratulations on your re-election as President of France. France is one of our closest and most important allies. I look forward to continuing to work together on the issues that matter most to both our countries and the world.
At the same time, Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi issued a statement saying that ‘Emanuel Macron’s victory in the French presidential election is good news for the whole of Europe. While Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez said on Emmanuel Macron’s victory that it is a victory for democracy and Europe.
All the leaders of the European Union seem very excited by Macon’s victory. European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen tweeted that together we will move France and Europe forward.
