One of the popular small cars, the Alto has been increased by Rs 5,304. The new price is Rs 4,08,000. The price of S-Presso has been increased by Rs 5,193 to Rs 3,99,500. The new price of Maruti Swift has gone up by Rs 7,695 to Rs 5,91,900. The best selling WagonR has become costlier by Rs 7,117 and is now available for Rs 5,47,500.

Eeco and Vitara Brezza
The Eeco has received a price hike of Rs 6,022. The Eeco is now available at a starting price of Rs 4,63,200. Customers planning to buy the Celerio will have to spend Rs 5,25,000. Its prices have been increased by Rs 6,825. The new price of DZire is Rs 6,24,000, which was earlier Rs 6,15,888. The new price of Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza is Rs 7,84,000, which is an increase of Rs 10,192. The Brezza price increase has been highest among Maruti Arena cars.

Ignis and Ciaz
The price of Maruti Ignis has been increased by Rs 6,955. The new price is Rs 5,35,000. Baleno will now cost Rs 6,49,000 with an increase of Rs 8,437. The S-Cross will come with an increase of Rs 11,635 for Rs 8,95,000. The price of Maruti Ciaz has increased by Rs 11,693, which is the highest among Nexa cars. The new starting price of Ciaz is Rs 8,99,500. Some of these cars are likely to see another price hike later this year when their updated versions are launched. For example, the 2022 Brezza is expected to arrive by June. It is expected to be available in the range of Rs 8 lakh to Rs 11.50 lakh. Similarly, Maruti Swift Hybrid, 2022 S-Cross and Alto are in this list. These are expected to be launched sometime during the festive season.

Ertiga’s price has not increased
The Ertiga is not included in the price hike by Maruti. Its 2022 model was launched earlier this month for Rs 8.35 lakh. The new Ertiga is available in 11 variants which includes 3 CNG variants. Maruti will soon launch the new XL6 as well.

Maruti has increased the prices of cars with effect from 18 April 2022. These hikes are based on different models. Overall, Maruti’s car prices have increased by 1.32 per cent (ex-showroom prices, Delhi) on an average across the portfolio.
