New Delhi: Country’s largest car maker Maruti Suzuki (Maruti Suzuki) has increased the prices of its models. After this decision of the company, the price of both its Arena and NEXA flagship vehicles including Alto, Wagon R, S-Presso, Celerio, Swift, Dzire, Vitara Brezza, Eeco, Ertiga, Ignis, Baleno, Ciaz, XL6 and S-Cross will increase by 1.3 percent. With this price hike, the prices of the facelifted Baleno have also increased.
According to the company, it has decided to increase the price in view of the rising input cost.
Maruti Suzuki second-gen Celerio price hiked
Maruti Suzuki has increased the prices of the Celerio by up to Rs 11,000. However, the second-to-top ZXi trim has not received any price hike and retains its previous price tag. While the price of CNG variants of Celerio has been increased by Rs 11,000.
Facelifted Baleno
The price of the new facelifted Baleno has gone up to Rs 22,000. The top-spec Alpha trim of the Baleno has received maximum increments.
Facelifted Wagon R
Maruti’s compact hatchback facelifted WagonR has become costlier by Rs 10,000.
Maruti Suzuki has also increased the prices of other Arena and Nexa models. Arena models including Alto, S-Presso have become more expensive. The price of the recently facelifted Ertiga has ranged from Rs 8.35 lakh to Rs 12.79 lakh, with no price hike.
Notably, all variants of the Alto and S-Presso are now available only as the (O) trim as they get standard dual airbags.
Meanwhile, three models of Nexa, Ignis, Ciaz and S-Cross have received a price hike of up to Rs 15,000. Maruti has added the facelifted XL6 to the Nexa lineup.
