In a recent conversation, it was told that father producer Boney Kapoor and mother late actress Sridevi liked this name even before the film Judai. He also told that one of the reasons for naming her Janhvi was that her mother knew the meaning of this name as purity. While talking in the interview Janhvi has said, “No, I was not named after Urmila’s character in Judaai. I think my parents liked the name from before this film.
He said that I think mother also liked this name because it meant purity. During this, when asked that people say that you remind them of your mother, the actress said that it feels good when people say that I remind them of my mother. Speaking about her father being a single parent, Janhvi said that it is new for her. During this, the actress said that she has become ‘more friend to us than anything else’. Janhvi also said that their relationship has become more honest and transparent than before.
Judaai, which released in 1997, was directed by Raj Kanwar.
