Bilaspur: The Bilaspur High Court has given a big decision regarding the girl who got married after converting in Chhattisgarh. The court has ordered to send the girl to her husband with security. Actually, the husband had filed a habeas corpus petition in the High Court. After hearing the matter, the Division Bench of Chief Justice Arup Kumar Goswami and Justice Gautam Chauradia gave this order.
Let us inform that Mohammad Irfan, who lives in Basna in Mahasamund district, had filed a habeas corpus petition in the High Court. The petition said that the Hindu girl, with her own consent, converted to Islam in 2021 and married according to the customs of Muslim religion, after which the girl’s father complained to the police station. The controversy was escalated by giving it a communal look. The petitioner had demanded from the court to get his wife back.
According to the information, the petitioner Irfan is already married, he also has two children. They are living separately after a dispute between husband and wife. During this, Irfan fell in love with a Hindu girl and both of them got married, where the girl’s father lodged a complaint at Basna police station. During the hearing of the case, the girl presented her side in the court through video conferencing, she told the court that she had converted to religion of her own free will without any pressure and wanted to live with her husband. After hearing the arguments of both the sides, the court delivered the verdict.
