Rakesh Tikait, spokesperson of the Indian Farmers Union and farmer leader Rakesh Tikait is becoming a part of the mahapanchayats being organized from place to place in protest of the agricultural laws. A mahapanchayat was also convened at Grain Mandi in Kharkhoda, Sonepat, Haryana, in which Rakesh Tikait fiercely attacked the government and corporates and reiterated that they would not return home until the agricultural laws were returned. Rakesh Tikait also retorted a statement by Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar. Narendra Singh Tomar had said that the law would not be canceled merely because of the gathering of the crowd, rather the farmers should tell which provision they find anti-farmer.
Rakesh Tikait said that politicians are forgetting that the crowd has the power to change the power. Rakesh Tikait was also very aggressive during the Mahapanchayat. Targeting corporate and government, he said that there is a need to break his nose (pride).
He said, ‘If you don’t brake now, then they will become uncontrollable, they need to break their nose, they need to break their nose. The general public, farmers gave them a lot of strength, they need to break their nose, then they will work in full, they will also withdraw the law. There is competition, there is competition with robbers, it will go from here, will have to run away. ‘

Rakesh Tikait said in the mahapanchayat that he will bring plow revolution across the country. Farmers will include the tools used in the fields during the plow revolution in their movement. He further said, ‘Treason and Section 307 (attempt to murder) are being imposed on us as if you are distributing prasad. The nails that they have slit will go uprooted.
Let us tell you that there have been 11 rounds of talks between the government and farmer organizations, in which no solution has been found. The Kisan Movement is being led by a joint Kisan Morcha made up of 40 farmers organizations, with Rakesh Tikait of Bhakiyu playing the most important role. Rakesh Tikait has also been demanding legislation on MSP for the rights of farmers.
He also raised this point during the Mahapanchayat and said, ‘When the law on minimum support price (MSP) is enacted, farmers will be protected. This movement is for him. This is for the rights of the farmers. ‘ Rakesh Tikait has also been saying that the farmers will also agitate, do farming and keep an eye on the policies being made for agriculture.
