Lucknow. The vote of thanks on the Governor’s address to the Legislative Assembly of Uttar Pradesh was discussed on Tuesday. During this time, the opposition parties targeted the state government, while the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its ally Apna Dal (Sone Lal) appreciated the government’s actions, supporting the address. Chaudhary said, the government is playing in the hands of the capitalists, farmers are being tortured, if the farmers do not want the agricultural law then this law should be withdrawn. The Governor of Uttar Pradesh, Anandiben Patel, read the address on 18 February addressing the two houses of the Legislature jointly. Speaking on the motion of thanks presented on the Governor’s address, Leader of Opposition Chaudhary demanded that the government give martyr status to two farmers of Uttar Pradesh, Ravpur’s Navneet Singh and Kashmir Singh, who lost their lives in the farmers’ movement and provide financial help to their families.

Reminding the Supreme Court comment, Chaudhary said, “Uttar Pradesh has a jungle raj and the law and order has become inferior.” 80 percent fake police encounters are taking place in the state and as a result of the Chief Minister’s choking policy, the law and order situation of Uttar Pradesh has collapsed. Describing the governor’s address as dhaporshankhi and tingling, he said, the state government did not consult opposition parties during the corona epidemic and did not try to know how many migrants died while returning home due to lack of food, water and medicines. Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) Legislature Party leader Lalji Verma termed the governor’s address as a document designed to mislead people.
Taking a dig at the government for paddy procurement, Verma said that the government had to buy paddy due to pressure from the farmers movement. Accusing the farmers of excesses, he said that from the day the new agricultural law comes into force, the purchase of farmers’ produce at the minimum support price will be stopped. Congress Legislature Party leader Aradhana Mishra said, “The Governor’s address is a reflection of the government and it shows the will and sensitivity of the government but there is nothing much to say in the address.” He said that in the time of crisis due to Corona epidemic, all parties supported the government but Corona did not come to this country, it was brought. Mishra said that our leader Rahul Gandhi called the Prime Minister in February but the air service was not stopped and five thousand people came from abroad to greet Trump. The Congress leader claimed that Corona virus infection increased wherever the trump was welcomed. He said that Azad is going through the most serious crisis of patriotism in the last 47 years of India.
With the increase in female crimes, he described the government as unsuccessful on the law and order front. Leena Tiwari of Apna Dal (Sone Lal), while supporting the address, said that the government’s work in employment promotion has given a new path to the youth. He praised the BJP coalition government led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and said that the Chief Minister has taken excellent steps to protect women. BJP’s Anupama Jaiswal lauded the actions of the state government, supporting the address.
In the Assembly, Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party leader Om Prakash Rajbhar spoke in Bhojpuri while speaking on the address, Khata na bahi, BJP jawan kahe uhe right (Khata nahi bahi, BJP says whatever is right). Rajbhar demanded free education till post-graduation, alleging that the government was continuously reducing the budget in the interests of the backward. He said that earlier there was a budget of 1610 crores for the scholarship, which has been reduced to 12 hundred crores. He said that only the development of the government is being beaten.
