The project will start from which state
Currently, this scheme will start in Bihar. By June or July, PNG gas supply will be started in 24 cities of Bihar. Government oil company Indian Oil has also opened its local headquarters in 9 cities of the state for this project. Explain that pipelines are being laid to supply gas to the houses through pipes. The company is working in full swing.
In which districts the work is going on
Please tell that there have been some problems in laying the pipeline in front of Indian Oil. For this, the company is in talks with the government district administration. Gas will be supplied from Chhapra in North Bihar and Naubatpur (Patna) in Hajipur in Vaishali. Meanwhile, gas will be delivered from Barauni to Samastipur and Muzaffarpur city. Pipes 6 to 12 inches thick will be used to supply gas. The total pipeline will be about 132 km.
Steel pipeline used
Explain that steel pipeline is being used in the project. The steel pipeline will be about 121 km long. Survey work is still going on in some districts. The districts where the gas will be transported through pipes include Nawada, Munger, Bhagalpur, Muzaffarpur, Vaishali, Samastipur, Sheikhpura and Jamui in addition to Chhapra. Apart from this, the project also includes Katihar, Kishanganj, Arwal, Jehanabad, Bhojpur, Buxar, Khagaria, Saharsa, Madhepura, Lakhisarai as well as Aurangabad, Kaimur, Rohtas, Araria and Purnia.
CNG stations will also be ready
For your information, let us know that apart from PNG, Indian Oil will also set up a CNG station for vehicles. 36 CNG stations to be opened for the first time. This work can be done in the next three months. In the first phase, CNG will be provided at the petrol pump on the highway. For this, CNG nozzle points will be introduced at these pumps.
Job opportunities will increase
Indian Oil will invest Rs 5000 crore in this gas project in the state. This will create new employment opportunities in the state. Also, the people of the state will get a lot of convenience.
