In the morning, with the sunrise, as the heat increased due to the clear sunlight in the season, the devotees staying in the hotels, Dharamshalas, lodges and ashrams of the fair area started coming to the ghats for bathing in the Ganges. Late in the night, the rate of arrival of vehicles in Haridwar border also increased steadily and free vehicle parking built in Bat Island was also filled with vehicles. The vehicles were transported to the designated Bat Island parking as per the traffic plan and instructions of higher officials by the police force on traffic and parking duty.
