Kolkata. The Trinamool Congress has snatched another post from Shishir Adhikari, the MP’s father of state BJP leader Shubhendu Adhikari, who joined Mamata Banerjee and joined the Bharatiya Janata Party. On Wednesday, party sources have reported that he has also been removed from the post of West Medinipur District President. Somen Mahapatra has been appointed as the new District President in his place.
Again, the resentment of the officer family is increasing against Mamata Banerjee. A day earlier, Shishir Adhikari was removed from the post of chairman of Digha Shakarpur Vikas Parishad and replaced by Trinamool Congress MLA Akhil Giri. Trinamool supremo Mamata Banerjee was accused of humiliating senior leader and former Union Minister Shishir Adhikari. Despite all these charges, he was removed from the post of West Medinipur District Trinamool President.
A day earlier, Shubhendu Adhikari had said that the people of Bengal are going to remove Mamata from the government after two-three months. However, in a statement issued by the Trinamool Congress on Wednesday, it has been told that he has been removed from the post of District Medinipur District President and appointed as the party President of East Medinipur.
