Jaipur. The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Tuesday arrested the Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RICO) office Vishwakarma’s section officer for taking a bribe of thirty five hundred rupees for issuing NOC. At present, the accused is being questioned.
Anti-corruption Bureau Jaipur Deputy Superintendent of Police Sachin Sharma said that the Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RICO) office Vishwakarma’s section officer, Jodharam (51), has been arrested red handed taking a bribe of thirty five hundred rupees for issuing NOC. In this regard, a victim, resident of Jhotwara, lodged a complaint at the ACB office, Jaipur that he had applied to the Ricoh office of Vishwakarma to get a loan from the bank for transferring the name of the transformer factory purchased at Sarna Dungar.
Rico’s section officer is demanding a bribe of five thousand rupees in lieu of issuing the NOG from the Jodharam victim. On this, ACB got 15 hundred rupees during the verification of the complaint. The remaining balance was fixed when it was working. On this, ACB was arrested on Tuesday by the accused section officer Jodharam after paying NOC, taking 3 thousand 500 rupees of bribe.
