Sonepat, 12 January (HP)
Mayor Nikhil Madan on Tuesday inspected the street construction work in the city’s Dahiya Colony with interlocking tiles commissioned by the Municipal Corporation at a cost of Rs 41 lakh. During this time, he also tested the quality of interlock tiles and met the people present on the spot to know their condition.
The mayor said that almost the outer colony of the city has been lagging behind in terms of development. In the past, neither the sewerage line nor the streets were paved in these colonies by the BJP administration. Madan said that he had also said earlier that he is in favor of equal development in every ward and keeping this in mind, an agenda meeting of all ward councilors has been held in the corporation office tomorrow.
In this, a list of all the problems of his ward has been sought. The corporation will be followed by a board meeting. In this, proposals for all development works will be made and work will be started. Local residents present on the spot put their problems before them. During this, people like Dharmbir Singh, Lakhmi Panchal, Karmabir, Ashu, Raju, Azad etc. were present.
