Internet desk. The final battle against the epidemic like Corona, which has become a global catch, has started from today. The Serum Institute of India has delivered the Oxford-AstraZeneca’s Covishield vaccine to the Government of India and its first batch has departed from the production center in Pune this morning to different vaccine centers in the country.
The first consignment of the Corona vaccine was sent to Delhi, which was brought by a SpiceJet flight. SpiceJet flight carrying the vaccine from Pune airport flew to Delhi at eight in the morning. Three hours earlier, the first batch of the vaccine was cleared by filling it in three trucks from the production center of the Serum Institute, 15 km from Pune Airport.
Pune Airport also tweeted about this and said that India should be ready, the vaccine is being loaded into the aircraft to kill this epidemic. SpiceJet Chairman and Managing Director Ajay Singh said that today SpiceJet flight arrived in Delhi with the first shipment of Corona vaccine.
The first batch of ‘Kovishield’ from Pune to Delhi has 34 boxes, which is due to 1088 kg. Apart from Delhi, the vaccine is being delivered today from seven other flights at 12 different locations of the country.
