The CBI, ED should be investigated for the alleged Bahukrodi scam in the Industry Department of Punjab and ‘CAG’ should also be included in this investigation. This was stated by former Cabinet Minister Tishna Sood while addressing a press conference here today.
He said that the recently discussed scam has exposed the Punjab government. He demanded that Chief Minister Amarendra Singh should immediately sack the responsible industry minister Sundar Sham Arora for the proper investigation into the scam, so that the investigation could be completed without effect.
He said that the said 31 acres of land, which is in the prime location of the industry area of Mohali, was allotted to JCT Limited by Punjab Infotech in September 1984. He said that the said plot cost about Rs. 400 crores, but sold it to his favorite company JRG firm for 95 crores, whose buyer paid only 50 percent, which becomes 45 crores. He said that only one bidder participated in the bidding process and its reserve price was fixed at Rs 90 crore 50 lakh, but after placing a bid, it was sold for Rs 90 crore 56 lakh.
He told that it should also be investigated who is behind Akhir GRG company. BJP’s district president Nipun Sharma, Vijay Pathania, Vinod Parmar Javed Sood, Rakesh Sood, Suresh Bhatia, Shiv Kumar Kaku and activists were present on the occasion.
